ABOUT

Kitsune Ceramics is a collection of handbuilt pottery rooted in form, texture, and quiet presence. Each piece is shaped slowly using traditional techniques such as nerikomi (layering and cutting colored clays to create marbled patterns) and kurinuki (a subtractive carving method).

The glazes, patterns, and forms draw inspiration from the natural world — stone, water, shells, and wood. Guided by wabi-sabi (侘寂, the beauty of imperfection and impermanence), Kitsune pieces are made to be lived with: held, used, and quietly transformed over time.

Based in Detroit, Kitsune Ceramics creates vessels for everyday rituals — cups, bowls, trays, and decor that bring a sense of calm and intimacy to daily life.
